How You’ll Make an Impact
As the Sales Manager, you'll combine strategic leadership with hands-on coaching to develop a high-performing inside sales team that delivers an exceptional customer experience while achieving company goals:
- Lead, coach, develop, and retain a high-performing inside sales team by setting clear expectations, fostering accountability, providing ongoing training, developing skills in communication, relationship building, industry knowledge, and sales technique
- Drive sales performance by managing sales objectives, analyzing performance metrics, identifying opportunities, and leading initiatives that improve results
- Strengthen a consultative, value-based sales approach by coaching team members to understand customer needs, communicate Ziehler's value, overcome objections, and recommend the right solutions
- Create an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales journey by ensuring prospective customers receive a professional, solution-focused experience that builds trust and supports retention
- Improve sales effectiveness and scalability by leveraging CRM tools, AI, automation, reporting, and performance data to enhance processes and team performance
- Collaborate across teams and with leadership to optimize the customer journey, improve alignment, and support company growth

What You Need
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales goals
- Experience managing, leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing sales team with direct reports
- Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to communicate value, overcome objections, and build customer confidence
- Experience using sales metrics and performance data to drive coaching and decision-making
- Ability and enthusiasm to leverage CRM platforms, technology, automation, and AI tools to improve sales effectiveness and scalability
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, analytical, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be 18 years or older and able to pass a background check
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Work on-site in Dayton, OH
- Adaptable to extended hours as business needs require
- Flexibility to attend off-site training, branch visits, leadership meetings, conferences, and professional development opportunities
