Material Associate
POSITION: Materials Associate
DESCRIPTION
Deliver raw materials from warehouse storage areas to the manufacturing floor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interface with manufacturing regarding shipment and delivery information.
- Deliver raw materials to the manufacturing floor.
- Scan material movements into SAP.
- Stock shelves from bulk skids of materials.
- Maintain appropriate inventory in line-side storage areas.
- Ensure FIFO within the warehouse and delivery.
- Maintain returnable decant tote loop.
- Decant incoming material into returnable totes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to use a computer.
- Good organization skills with the ability to handle many things at once; good record keeping.
- Ability to work with minimal or no supervision.
- Good basic math skills.
- Required to work overtime as scheduled.
- Must have a customer service orientation.
- Previous [barcode] scanning experience.
- Must be able to work at a rapid pace.
- Operate tow motor.
