Design, develop, and implement PLC-based automation solutions (Programmable Logic Controllers) to meet the plant's production, assembly, and safety requirements. Program, configure, and optimize control systems, automation hardware, and software, ensuring reliability, availability, and operational performance. Develop new automation and technology integration strategies that drive efficiency and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes. Implement engineering standards, ensuring the creation and updating of technical documentation upon the completion of each project. Provide technical support for PLC systems, hardware, software, and manufacturing applications, ensuring operational continuity of production processes. Address and resolve user-reported technical issues related to automation applications, providing guidance, training, and specialized support. Collaborate with multidisciplinary and global teams on automation, industrialization, digitalization, and continuous improvement projects. Monitor and evaluate changes in hardware, software, and control system requirements to ensure technological updates and compatibility. Train end users on the operation of automation systems and maintain up-to-date technical and operational documentation. Optimize operational parameters of automated assembly equipment, such as screwdrivers, presses, alignment systems, and other manufacturing equipment. Identify and lead improvement opportunities in automation processes and applications, coordinating implementation with Engineering teams and divisional specialists. Plan, execute, and validate functional, integration, and acceptance tests to ensure the proper operation of implemented control systems. Implement and ensure compliance with industrial cybersecurity requirements (Production IT Security), ProSA, and other applicable corporate standards in industrialization and digitalization projects. Implement connectivity and integration standards between equipment, manufacturing systems, and digital platforms, ensuring information interoperability. Develop, configure, and maintain PLC software in accordance with ZF Foxconn standards, performing signal and data mapping and integration required for manufacturing processes. Implement and manage Shopfloor solutions and digital manufacturing platforms, providing first-, second-, and third-level technical support based on system criticality. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field. 3 years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or manufacturing environments. Hands-on experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting. Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus TCP, or similar. Experience with HMI, SCADA, MES, and Shopfloor systems. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, automated assembly systems, and production equipment. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment. Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
