Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Civil Engineer based in Ormond Beach, FL. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing civil engineering projects such as sports facilities, commercial centers, residential development, roadways, municipal projects, parks and other land development improvements with a focus on stormwater management and infrastructure development. Day-to-day tasks include developing design plans, analyzing project requirements, collaborating with teams, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards. The engineer will also participate in client meetings and coordinate technical solutions to meet project goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and knowledge of core Civil Engineering principles
- Experience in Stormwater Management and related environmental impact planning
- Familiarity with Planning and project management processes
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team of Civil Engineers and other professionals
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
- Proficiency in engineering software tools and AutoCAD
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to civil engineering projects
