What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front End Driver position at Zero Waste Solutions, Inc.?
Seeking front end drivers to operate refuse trucks, collecting waste utilizing a route schedule and transport waste to a disposal site.
Responsibilities:
- Collects trash and recycling, from commercial accounts and disposes of them at appropriate disposal sites.
- Makes minor adjustments to and assists in cleaning or servicing of equipment used.
- Conducts routine safety and maintenance checks of equipment before leaving the yard and at the end of the day.
- Maintains records of work performed and submits reports to the Project Manager.
- Performs other essential duties as required to achieve successful operations of the ISWM Program.
- Observes proper safety, and DOT regulations in the field.
- Performs physical labor and any other duty that is required.
- Maintains and inspects vehicles and equipment daily.
- Maintains daily vehicle and route-related records. Reports accidents and incidents to the supervisor.
Requirements:
- 3 years of minimum experience - Heavy Truck driving, equipment operation, waste management.
- Class B CDL State driver's license with the insurable record, DOT Health Card, and Pass DOT Drug Screen.
- Ability to obtain security background clearance
- Ability to communicate and load scale tickets in a system
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
