A highly regarded insurance defense boutique law firm based in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Paralegal / Legal Assistant (Hybrid) to join its office. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment supporting attorneys on complex insurance defense matters while contributing to a team known for delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
· Format pleadings and correspondence
· E-file legal documents in a variety of courts
· Proofread all documents for accuracy and completeness prior to distribution or filing
· Maintain and update/manage client files, both electronic and physical
· Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling meetings, deadlines, and court dates
· Provide professional and responsive telephone support when needed
· Assist with discovery process and trial preparation
Qualifications
· Minimum of a high school diploma required; college degree preferred
· 3 years of experience working in a law firm as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant primarily in litigation defense
· Preferred experience with PACER, ECF, Net Docs
· Strong understanding of legal terminology, litigation processes, and court filings
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
· Experience with document management systems, time entry, and e-filing platforms
· Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
