What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Engineer (m/f/d) Citrix position at zeppelin?
In the strategic Management Center Group IT Services of Zeppelin GmbH at our location in Garching near Munich or alternatively in Achim, we are currently looking for a "System Engineer (m/f/d) Citrix". Your tasks & responsibilities: In your role as a "System Engineer (m/f/d) Citrix" you are responsible for the “Remote Access / Virtual Workplace” service as well as for the steering, coordination and the quality control of our external service provider. You will also be responsible for the monitoring and tracking of SLA, KPI and service performance as well as the incident, problem and escalation management in an international environment. Furthermore, you will also contribute to the planning and further development of the technical roadmap in the areas of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, remote access solutions and cloud-based virtual desktop technologies. You will also be in charge of the evaluation and introduction of future-oriented technologies such as Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), AWS WorkSpaces / AppStream and hybrid workplace architectures. In addition to this, you will work on the preparation and moderation of service reviews with internal stakeholders and external partners. The coordination with security, network, workplace as well as the support in budget, licensing, and capacity planning will also belong to your area of responsibility.
