As a Reclamation Technician, you'll play an essential role in the repair process by reclaiming and preparing electric motor components for rebuilding. Your work helps ensure every motor repair begins with a clean, properly inspected foundation.

What You'll Do

As a Reclamation Technician, you'll support the repair process by preparing electric motor components for rewinding and rebuilding.

Responsibilities include:

• Safely load and unload electric motor stators and rotors into burn-off ovens.
• Remove burned windings from stators and rotors using specialized equipment and hand tools.
• Clean, inspect, and prepare motor cores for the repair and rewinding process.
• Perform core loss testing to verify core integrity and identify defects.
• Assist with disassembly and preparation of electric motors and related equipment.
• Identify damaged or defective components and communicate findings to supervisors.
• Safely operate shop equipment while following all company procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support teammates and other departments as needed to meet production goals.
• Follow all company safety policies, environmental regulations, and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, automotive repair, construction, fabrication, welding, machine operation, or another mechanical trade preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience safely using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Dependable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

No electric motor repair experience? No problem.

We provide on-the-job training for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude, a solid work ethic, and a desire to build a skilled trade career.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically active position. Candidates should be able to:

• Lift and move heavy motor components throughout the workday.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently bend, kneel, squat, and perform repetitive hand movements.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work in an industrial shop environment with heat, dust, grease, machinery, and moderate noise.
