We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welding Supervisor to lead our welding team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the welding team to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Monitor welding processes to maintain high-quality standards and adherence to specifications.
- Train and mentor team members on welding techniques, safety practices, and equipment operation.
- Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality control standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize welding processes and resolve any technical issues.
- Maintain equipment, including forklifts, press brake machines, and plasma cutting tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Develop and implement safety protocols to promote a safe working environment for all employees.
- Assist in the fabrication of components using various welding methods such as GMAW and FCAW.
Skills
- Proficiency in various welding techniques including GMAW and FCAW.
- Experience in operating forklifts and other manufacturing machinery.
- Ability to rig materials safely for lifting and transportation within the facility.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
