Welder/Fitter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in welding and fitting. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and precision of our fabrication processes, contributing to the successful completion of projects.

Duties

• Utilize various welding techniques, primarily MIG, to fabricate and assemble metal structures and components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately build components.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Safely operate cranes for lifting heavy materials during the assembly process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience in welding and fitting.
• Proficiency in operating power tools and machinery relevant to the welding process.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
