Security Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and vigilant Security Supervisor to lead our security team in safeguarding our facilities, assets, and personnel. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee comprehensive security operations, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and foster a secure environment for all stakeholders. As a Security Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing security protocols, supervising security staff, and responding effectively to incidents with professionalism and confidence. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily security operations, including patrolling premises and monitoring surveillance systems such as CCTV.
• Conduct thorough background checks on new security personnel and perform regular performance evaluations.
• Manage access control systems to regulate entry and exit points for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond promptly to emergencies by executing emergency response procedures, including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety protocols.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events for review and action.
• Perform conflict de-escalation techniques and manage disputes professionally to maintain a peaceful environment.
• Oversee loss prevention strategies by monitoring suspicious activities and implementing security measures to prevent theft or damage.

Requirements

• Proven experience in physical security roles with knowledge of surveillance techniques and law enforcement procedures.
• Strong understanding of security regulations, compliance standards, and emergency response protocols.
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, Taser use, firearm handling, and conflict management are highly desirable.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and maintaining physical security during patrols.
• Skilled in operating access control systems, CCTV equipment, and conducting thorough background checks.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to write comprehensive incident reports accurately and promptly.
