Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patrols of designated areas to monitor for suspicious activity, security breaches, or safety hazards
- Operate access control systems to regulate entry and exit points for personnel, visitors, and contractors
- Perform surveillance using CCTV systems and other monitoring tools to detect potential threats or irregularities
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations by executing first aid procedures, CPR, AED operation, or fire safety protocols as needed
- Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other occurrences with clarity and accuracy
- Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining order
- Enforce security regulations by performing background checks and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
Skills
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operations
- Experience in military or law enforcement environments is highly desirable
- Proficiency in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire extinguisher use
- Ability to handle physical tasks including heavy lifting and manual handling safely
- Skilled in incident report writing with attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with access control systems and loss prevention strategies
- Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict management abilities
- Knowledge of emergency response procedures and law enforcement protocols
- Ability to perform patrolling duties efficiently while maintaining vigilance over assigned areas
- Understanding of security regulations, compliance standards, and fire safety protocols
