Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Account Manager to support the VP of Finance with day-to-day accounting operations and financial organization. This role is focused on account management, bookkeeping support, and financial accuracy, rather than direct cash flow ownership.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in QuickBooks, enjoys maintaining clean and accurate financial records, and thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Finance Support- Support the VP of Finance with day-to-day accounting and financial operations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records within QuickBooks
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations in QuickBooks
- Prepare and post journal entries as directed
- Assist with monthly and year-end close processes
- Review and organize general ledger activity for accuracy
- Track and categorize expenses appropriately across projects and entities
- Assist in generating financial reports, summaries, and supporting schedules
- Maintain organized financial documentation for audits and internal review
- Help identify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy across accounts
- Bank and credit card reconciliation
- Journal entry preparation and posting
- General ledger maintenance and review
- Accounts payable (bill entry, tracking, coding)
- Accounts receivable (invoicing, tracking payments)
- Expense categorization and class tracking
- Financial report generation (P&L, balance sheet, transaction reports)
- Vendor and customer record management
- Assist in organizing financial files, reports, and internal documentation
- Support communication between finance and other internal teams
- Help track deadlines related to reporting and financial deliverables
- Assist with special projects and additional administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, or similar role
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger management
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proactive, dependable, and solutions-oriented mindset
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience supporting a finance leader or executive
- Familiarity with real estate, development, or multi-entity accounting
- Associate degree or equivalent professional experience

- Salary: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
