Summary
We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our growing team and manage a dynamic caseload of complex bodily injury matters. This role involves handling litigation from case inception through resolution, including trial when necessary. The attorney may also oversee litigation and pre-suit attorneys to ensure efficient case progression. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both pre-suit and litigation phases of plaintiff’s personal injury cases, bringing a comprehensive and client-focused approach to advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a litigation caseload focused on personal injury and bodily injury claims.
- Conduct initial case evaluations, develop litigation strategies, and provide risk assessments.
- Draft, review, and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
- Conduct depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
- Represent clients at hearings, court appearances, and trials.
- Mentor and manage litigation/pre-suit attorneys, paralegals, and support staff (as assigned).
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
- File motions and appeals when necessary to advance client interests.
- Ensure compliance with firm litigation processes while maintaining organized, detailed case files.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the State of Florida.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in plaintiff’s personal injury litigation (both pre-suit and litigation).
- Proven trial experience required.
- Strong knowledge of civil procedure, tort law, and litigation best practices.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation, public speaking, and client communication skills.
- Leadership or attorney management experience preferred.
- Commitment to client advocacy and securing favorable outcomes.
