Duties
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of mechanical systems including HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment to ensure continuous operation.
- Conduct appliance repair and installation across various departments, ensuring all units meet safety and operational standards.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to diagnose issues accurately and execute repairs efficiently.
- Maintain HVAC & appliance technology by calibrating systems, replacing parts, and upgrading components as needed.
- Operate company vehicles safely for on-site service calls or equipment transportation while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Lead maintenance tasks with a focus on equipment repair, preventive maintenance routines, and operational improvements.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with team members and responding promptly to maintenance requests.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance mechanic with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and mechanical systems repair.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues effectively.
- Knowledge of HVAC system repair including air conditioning units and HVAC & appliance technology.
- Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices to optimize equipment lifespan and performance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform detailed repairs on diverse equipment types including kitchen appliances.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical staff.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely in various environments.
- Leadership qualities that support team collaboration and safety compliance in fast-paced settings.
