Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Date Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in data conversion, ETL, or data migration projects, preferably within the insurance domain.
• Strong technical proficiency int
• Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL
• ETL / Data Tools(Preferred): Azure Data Factory, Databricks, AWS Data Services (Glue, S3, Redshift)
• Hands-on experience in data analysis, transformation logic design, and performance optimization. Claims conversion or policy conversion experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of insurance data models, including policies, claims, and multi-line product structures.
• Experience defining and implementing validation and reconciliation frameworks to ensure migration accuracy.
• Leadership and team management skills, with proven ability to guide and mentor cross-functional data tears.
• Strong analytical thinking, documentation, and communication skills with the ability to translate complex data requirements into actionable solutions.
• Advanced SQL and Oracle language knowledge/experience: complex joins, window functions, aggregations, set based comparisons, performance minded query design

Key Responsibilities:
• Independently execute the complete data conversion lifecycle without supervision or guidance and can even lead or oversee the conversion lifecycle — from data extraction, transformation, and validation to loading and reconciliation between ingest end target system
• Determine and execute the overall conversion strategy, methodology, and framework, ensuring it supports both conforming and non-conforming data structures.
• Analyze and interpret data models for both source and target systems to identify gaps, dependencies, and required transformations.
• Develop and document approaches for exception handling, error logging, and data remediation processes.
• Design and implement validation and reconciliation frameworks to ensure completeness, accuracy, and financial integrity of converted data.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand data requirements, product structures, and mapping specifications.
• Lead and mentor a team of data analysts and data engineers, ensuring deliverables align with project timelines, standards, and quality expectations.
• Provide direction on the conversion of complex insurance products, including monoline and multi-line business, ensuring appropriate data model alignment.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, quality, and security standards during all stages of the conversion.
• Report conversion progress, metrics, and validation outcomes to project leadership and key stakeholders.
• Use SQL daily to profile, reconcile, and validate data outcomes.
• Write clear pseudo code for complex data transformations.
• Validate accuracy and completeness of converted data.
