Key Responsibilities
- Maintain attorney calendars by scheduling conferences, depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
- Monitor deadlines for pleadings, filings, and discovery responses to ensure timely compliance.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
- Draft and prepare legal documents, reports, and forms with precision and attention to detail.
- Format and file pleadings, briefs, and other legal materials in accordance with state and federal court requirements, including e-filing.
- Organize, maintain, and update client and case files in compliance with firm policies.
- Support attorneys with case management, discovery coordination, and evidence tracking.
- Communicate professionally with clients, court staff, and external contacts.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold attorney-client privilege at all times.
- Perform additional administrative and case-related duties as needed.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong proofreading, grammar, and document editing abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Professional.
- Experience with SurePoint and Concur preferred.
- Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision while maintaining collaboration within a team.
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively across all levels of the firm.
- Demonstrated judgment, discretion, and decision-making skills within scope of responsibilities.
- Knowledge of legal procedures, court filing systems, and e-filing processes for state and federal courts.
- Rapid learner capable of adapting to new technologies and processes.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience providing legal administrative support in a law firm or corporate legal setting.
- Working knowledge of family law, estate planning, and business law preferred.
- Associate’s degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent legal training desirable.

Competitive compensation will be offered, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with standard firm benefits.

Base Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
