Job Description:
The primary function of this position is to be responsible for all payroll related activities; creating Payroll Journal Entries including reconciling general ledger accounts pertaining to payroll and medical benefit deductions at month-end. In addition, the position is expected to assist in some tasks at month end and assist with overflow transactions as needed. A general (basic) knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable is desired.
What will my responsibilities include?
- Maintain confidentiality of employee records.
- Processing of payroll on a bi-weekly schedule and additional payrolls as they arise.
- Balance and compare time and attendance for employees 2) Compare payroll to previous payroll cycle
- Monitor payroll activities for each individual
- Oversee/manage child support and other garnishments
- Prepare & analyze standard payroll reports
- Collaborate with Accounting Supervisor to reconcile accounts.
- Communicate with ADP on an ongoing basis.
- Keep up-to-date on payroll and retirement laws
- Processing of W-2’s at year-end
- Oversee and manage employee vacation balances
- Process employee garnishments and child support orders in a timely manner, within the guidelines set forth by law.
- Crosstrain in AP Vouchering and AR invoicing to support department as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- At least two years experience in payroll or human resources
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel.
- Preferred previous experience with ADP Payroll Processing – Workforce Now and UKG (Kronos) timekeeping.
- Experience with reconciling General Ledger accounts and working with ADP General Ledger.
- Knowledge of tax reporting requirement – L&I filing

Salary Offering: $31.00 per hour to $38.00 per hour
Shift available:
Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
