Zenith is seeking an Investments Analyst to join its growing team in New York City. This team member will report to the Senior Vice President of Investments and will support Zenith's investment team in deploying capital into industrial outdoor storage assets across the country. We seek team members who are entrepreneurial, collaborative, and have a passion for industrial real estate.
Responsibilities
- Assist in execution of investment process including investment sourcing, managing legal documents, and completing due diligence.
- Recommend investment opportunities based on pro-forma valuation analysis.
- Development of investment committee memos for potential investments or development projects.
- Conduct market research, maintain transaction comp database, build investment theses across target markets.
- Maintain relationships with investment-sales brokers in respective target markets.
- Review diligence documents including title, survey, property condition report, etc. in connection with investment recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal Asset Management and Property Management teams where applicable.
Qualifications
- Advanced financial modeling and technical financial skills.
- Advanced oral and written communication skills, including the ability to speak effectively with small groups.
- Ability to read and interpret documents accurately.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in a real estate investment role.
- Looking to build a career in industrial real estate long term.
