Zenith Vineyard is seeking an experienced, polished Lead Events Manager to lead and grow our established wedding and corporate events program.
We currently host 70 80 events annually and are strategically expanding to 100 120 events per year. This is a key leadership role for a hospitality professional who thrives in a client-facing environment and excels at both sales and execution.
As Lead Events Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients from initial inquiry through flawless event execution while representing Zenith Vineyard with warmth, professionalism, and confidence. You will also play an important role in shaping and refining our events program as we continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the lead contact for event clients from inquiry through post-event follow-up

Conduct site tours and convert inquiries into bookings

Manage event timelines, logistics, and vendor coordination

Oversee event execution, ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience

Collaborate with ownership and team members to refine systems and scale operations

Maintain strong relationships within the Oregon wine and events community

Strong knowledge of and enthusiasm for the Oregon wine and hospitality community

Proven experience in event planning, wedding coordination, or hospitality management

Demonstrated sales ability, including leading tours and confidently closing bookings

Highly organized with strong computer skills (CRM systems, social media, and platforms such as The Knot, WeddingWire, and Zola)

A calm, solutions-oriented leader who performs well under pressure

Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and long event days (10 12 hours typical)

Ability to perform moderate physical work (lifting up to 40 lbs, moving glassware/tables, navigating stairs)

Strong communication skills and comfort working with a largely remote team
