Paint/Coatings Technician
Zenith Paint & Finish – Powell, WY
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Paint Technician who can produce clean, consistent work while maintaining strong production pace across a variety of projects.
This is a hands-on role focused on both prep and paint execution. You’ll be expected to move efficiently, follow our workflow, and deliver quality results with minimal rework.
Key ResponsibilitiesPaint Application
- Cut, roll, and backroll walls and ceilings
- Operate airless sprayers (training provided if needed)
- Maintain clean, consistent finishes across all surfaces
Surface Preparation
- Sanding, caulking, filling, and spot priming
- Ensure surfaces are properly prepped before finish coats
Production & Workflow
- Follow Zenith workflow standards based on project scope
- Maintain steady pace throughout the job
- Support crew efficiency and keep work moving
Jobsite & Equipment
- Assist with jobsite setup and organization
- Maintain tools and equipment properly
- Keep work areas clean and professional

Pay & Opportunity
- Base Pay: $18–$25/hour (depending on experience)
- Performance Bonuses: Based on production, quality, and reliability

Requirements
- 1–2 years of painting experience preferred
- Comfortable with physical work and active job sites
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to follow systems and direction
- Completion of required Sherwin-Williams training (provided, ~6 hours)
