Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care during the night shift. This is an excellent opportunity for newly graduated LPNs as well as candidates with 6 months of experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and compassionate nursing care to patients.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report changes to the appropriate healthcare team members.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide appropriate nursing support.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Follow infection-control and patient-safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to support patient care.
- Follow facility policies, procedures, and nursing standards.
- Work scheduled night shifts and complete the full contract assignment.
Requirements
- Current and active Vermont LPN license required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Open to new LPN graduates.
- Candidates with 6 months of LPN experience are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Ability to work night shifts and complete the full 14-week contract assignment.
