ZELTWANGER CNC Manufacturing - USA manufactures specialized, high-precision parts and assemblies for a variety of industries such as manufacturing, automotive, and packaging. We are seeking a full-time Technical Purchasing associate who will play a key role in the purchasing life-cycle.
What you will do as an Inside Sales Specialist:
- Source vendors for raw materials, equipment, and machinery.
- Manage purchasing life cycle including vendor quotes, issuing POs, and receipt of materials in ERP.
- Read technical drawings to determine purchasing needs.
- Communicate with customers on order confirmations based on the availability of raw material and the production schedule.
- Coordinate with Production, Logistics, and Engineering to provide order status updates to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and open technical POs.
- Approve and submit vendor invoices for timely payment.
Your profile:
- Prior purchasing experience
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact directly with customers.
- Attention to detail and extremely organized
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Knowledge of, or the ability to learn, technical areas of the business.
