Job Responsibilities
- Review and prepare individual, business, fiduciary, and nonprofit tax returns.
- Research complex tax issues and provide technical guidance to clients and staff.
- Identify tax planning strategies and opportunities to minimize client tax liabilities.
- Communicate tax implications, recommendations, and planning opportunities in a clear and practical manner.
- Serve as a technical resource for tax compliance and advisory matters.
- Mentor, coach, and develop tax staff through training and review feedback.
- Collaborate with firm leadership and team members to resolve client issues and improve service delivery.
- Maintain knowledge of current tax laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Support client relationships through responsive service and technical expertise.
- Participate in select attest and assurance engagements based on experience and firm needs.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on quality, efficiency, and client success.
Job Requirements
- CPA or EA designation required.
- Public accounting tax experience with progressively increasing responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of individual, business, fiduciary, and nonprofit taxation.
- Advanced tax research and technical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify tax planning opportunities and communicate recommendations effectively.
- Experience reviewing complex tax returns and workpapers.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to mentor, train, and develop staff.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
