Our client, one of the best ECVC practices in the world is hiring and they're looking for 4 associates across San Francisco and New York.
4–8 years of VC/M&A experience at an AmLaw 50 firm. You know how to run a deal. You're ready to own the client relationship.
The work: in and around SAFEs, preferred financings, corporate governance, and everything from formation to exit for both founders and the VCs backing them.
Client industries span AI, digital health, defense tech, life sciences, gaming, and fintech.
What makes this different from typical BigLaw:
Manageable target hours ( Hybrid in office 2-3 days/week SF, Tue–Thu NYC Direct access to founders, CEOs, and boards from day one alongside partner guidance Built-in mentorship and a real path to partnership
Comp: $300K–$400K
SF role: can sit in SF or NY.
NY role: must be in NY.
Strong JD pedigree (top 30) matters, but experience runs the show here.
