Description
Pay Range: $18 - $25/hr
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401k, Sick Time, and PTO after 90 days!
Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Summary: Supervises and coordinates activities of all employees on the second shift to maintain maximum output. Responsible for training shift production personnel in wood operation, part handling, safety, and company policies. Evaluates production personnel performance and handles all disciplinary action.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Administers and prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow in accordance with dayshift supervisors.
Issues written and oral instructions
Responsible for making final decisions in the absence of management
Trains subordinates in proper use of equipment, policies, procedures, and documents all disciplinary actions
Responsible for performance of personnel ensure quality in accordance to policies and procedures
Recommends and implements ideas for improving production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
Facilitate lean initiatives to improve labor standards and productivity of work area
Maintains house-keeping and organization for optimal performance
Under plant management guidance, schedules work, assists with employee selection, reviews employee performance, and administers work rules
Evaluates and responds to quality and production problems.
Conforms and enforces to all policies and procedure of the company
Performs added tasks as work flows allow
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Richards is cutting, forming, welding and powder coating and assembling steel components. Product is shipped out every day, therefore you can expect that product is constantly moving. There will be forklift traffic about the building, in and out of the departments. PPE may be required depending on the area or process you are working. As in most manufacturing you may be required to work alongside another employee.
