We’re working with a high-growth SaaS startup in the developer tooling space that’s on a mission to change the way companies showcase and adopt APIs. They’re now looking for their first Developer Relations Engineer to help build and scale their developer community.
Why this role?
You’ll sit at the heart of product, engineering, and community—creating content, building demos, amplifying developer voices, and shaping how the product is adopted and understood. This is a chance to have real ownership and visible impact at an early stage.
What you’ll be doing:
- Build tutorials, demos, and sample projects to showcase product capabilities
- Engage with developer communities online and at events (conferences, webinars, forums)
- Act as the voice of developers internally—gather feedback and shape roadmap priorities
- Partner with product, engineering, and sales to create technical enablement materials
- Help scale an inclusive, thriving community of developers and technical users
What we’re looking for:
- Solid technical background (APIs, SDKs, authentication, developer tooling)
- Excellent communication skills (written, spoken, technical storytelling)
- Experience in developer relations, advocacy, or community building a big plus
- Comfortable writing code samples, demos, or technical blog posts
- Collaborative, curious, and excited to be a “first hire” in a fast-moving team
This role requires you to be in-office in NYC**
Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
