Business System Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to support business applications, systems integration, process improvements, and technology projects within the dental medical device industry. This role will partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to gather requirements, improve workflows, manage system implementations, and drive technology innovation, including AI adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, workflows, and user stories.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business processes and customer experience.

• Manage business application implementations, upgrades, software evaluations, and vendor relationships.

• Provide application support, configuration, reporting, troubleshooting, and user training.

• Maintain data integrity and lead system data cleanup efforts.

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system workflows.

• Support ERP integrations, database management, automation platforms, and e-commerce systems.

• Lead agile sprint planning, product release planning, deployment, QA, and UAT.

• Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements based on user feedback.

• Support cybersecurity awareness, employee training, and security policy improvements, including KnowBe4.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams and business stakeholders to support secure system development.

• Develop technology roadmaps focused on AI adoption, infrastructure scalability, and IT efficiency.

• Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

• Provide post-implementation support and continuous system optimization.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience gathering complex business requirements and delivering technology projects.

• Strong business analysis, systems integration, and project management skills.

• Experience with business applications, ERP integration, databases, automation, and e-commerce systems.

• Knowledge of business analysis tools, process mapping, workflows, and functional specifications.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with regulatory standards and cybersecurity practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• CBAP, PMI-PBA, or relevant certifications.

• Experience in the medical device, dental, or regulated industry.

• Knowledge of AI tools, predictive analytics, and process automation.

• Experience with Agile methodologies, sprint planning, release management, and UAT.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity awareness platforms such as KnowBe4.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Indoor, climate-controlled office and light industrial environment.

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands, talk, and hear.

• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

• May require occasional bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.

• Close vision required for reading documents and operating equipment.
