What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Records Clerk position at Zayed Law Offices?
Do you have experience with medical records, medical bills and medical terminology? If so, you may be interested in our medical records specialist position.
The position’s focus is to communicate with our team, our clients, and their health care providers to obtain medical records related to personal injury and medical malpractice matters. This requires attention to detail, knowledge of medical terminology, knowledge of medical billing, and multi-tasking abilities to obtain the appropriate provider information and authorizations from the client.
Job duties include: initiating, monitoring and responding to all medical record requests and maintaining continuity of workflow by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. The medical records specialist must be able to build relationships with clients, our internal team as well as external vendors and medical providers. Additionally, once the records are in, organizing, filing, reviewing and creating specials summaries.
The ideal candidate will be experience with medical terminology, detailed oriented, quality focused, and able to manage a high volume of time sensitive projects. Strong organizational, interpersonal and telephone skills are necessary.
