Duties

• Operate fryers efficiently to cook a variety of menu items with precision and consistency
• Prepare food ingredients according to established recipes and quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, including fryers, utensils, and work stations
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
• Assist with food prep, packaging, and serving orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Support cash handling and cashiering duties during busy service periods
• Uphold restaurant cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing work areas, and ensuring a tidy environment
• Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure quick service and customer satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation within quick service or fast food restaurants preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
• Strong understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to serve guests courteously and professionally
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order assembly
• Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly desirable, including roles in cafés or grocery stores involving food service or cashiering
