About the Role
Zaxby's is all about flavor, community, and Southern hospitality. We are looking for a Field Marketing & Community Engagement Manager who can bring that spirit to life across our New Jersey markets. This role is responsible for driving revenue through local fundraising events, school partnerships, sponsorships, sports team activations, community outreach, social marketing, and brand-building events.

What You'll Do
Community & Revenue Growth
- Plan and execute fundraising nights, spirit nights, and charity-focused events that drive traffic and sales.
- Build partnerships with schools, youth sports teams, local organizations, and nonprofits.
- Secure sponsorships and represent Zaxby's at community events, expos, and festivals.
Brand Presence & Local Outreach
- Serve as the local face of Zaxby's—representing the brand with energy and hospitality.
- Build strong relationships with community leaders, businesses, fire/police departments, and town councils.
- Coordinate and activate sports partnerships, youth leagues, and game-day promotions.
Marketing & Promotion
- Support local store marketing efforts for grand openings, new product launches, and neighborhood promotions.
- Create social content, manage local social pages (if applicable), and engage with community groups.
- Distribute promotional materials, manage samples, and increase brand visibility at events.
Event Execution & Reporting
- Organize, staff, and manage on-site activations including giveaways, sampling tables, and Zaxby's presence.
- Track performance metrics, event ROI, and key community partnerships.
- Work closely with store managers and the operations team to support local goals.
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience in field marketing, community outreach, event coordination, or partnership development (QSR experience a plus).
- Outgoing, energetic personality with strong networking skills.
- Comfortable speaking with schools, town officials, sports leagues, and community groups.
- Ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, and markets.
- Solid understanding of social media and grassroots marketing.
- Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel between locations.
