What are the responsibilities and job description for the Freelance Creative Coordinator position at ZATV?
Position Summary
This role's central focus is to research various content libraries of Television, Film, and Digital video to source clips and scenes for distribution onto the YouTube platform. The candidate will also work in an editorial capacity, researching compilations and other long-form content (i.e. Top 10, Best of Videos, Scenes Ranked, etc.)
This role will work cross-functionally with the Post-Production, and Strategy to execute digital video content for our owned and operated channels, as well as assisting with client channels. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and have strong research skills.
This is a remote freelance position.
Key Responsibilities
- Research Television, Film, and digital content libraries to source clips, shorts and compilations for YouTube distribution.
- Maintain programming calendars, tentpole calendars and spreadsheet databases with channel managers and editors.
- Work closely with Creative and Strategy teams to brainstorm and ideate video concepts and long-term channel strategies
- Compile scenes and timecodes for clips, shorts, and compilation creation
- Support editors with troubleshooting requests and files
- Updating and tracking project status of all content in Notion and Airtable
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Prior experience working with YouTube and/or social media video content, and/or previous experience with editorial content research and fact-checking
- Prior experience with Notion or Airtable preferred, if not please mention any similar project management software you have worked with (i.e. Trello, Monday, Asana, Jira)
- Must be a self-starter with a strong ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams
- Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and be detail-oriented
- Ideal candidate is enthusiastic about pop culture/fandom, especially TV & Film
