Short-Form Videographer / Director

Location: Long Island, NY

Company: Long Island-based Short-Form Media & Technology Company

We are hiring a Short-Form Videographer / Director to join our growing team on Long Island.

This role is for someone who can do more than just shoot. We need a strong presence on set. Someone who is comfortable taking control of production, leading clients, directing scenes, and helping drive the entire shoot from start to finish.

You must be based on Long Island and able to work with clients in person.

• Must live on Long Island
• Must be comfortable talking to people
• Must be confident leading clients on set
• Must be able to take direction and also take initiative
• Must be comfortable driving the production process
• Must understand how to capture content built for short-form platforms
• Must be reliable, professional, and have strong communication
  

• Shoot short-form video content for businesses and personal brands
• Direct clients during filming so they feel confident and look natural on camera
• Help guide the energy, flow, and execution of each production
• Follow creative direction, production notes, and scripting guidance
• Work closely with our team to execute content at a high level
• Help ensure shoots stay organized, efficient, and on brand
  

• Videographers should ideally have their own camera
• If needed, a camera can be provided
• Director notes, scripts, and creative guidance will be provided
• Training is available for the right person
  

You are not just a camera operator. You know how to take control of a room, communicate clearly, make clients feel comfortable, and help turn a shoot into strong content. You understand pacing, presence, energy, and what makes short-form content perform.
