Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $102,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Key job responsibilities
- Write impactful, strategic copy to appear on all social & paid media channels
- Translate the established Zappos voice & high-level Tier 1 campaigns into effective social-first moments that are brand right & culturally relevant
- Own the Zappos social-first voice, including building on the established style guide, as well as developing future best practices in partnership with the editorial team
- Collaborate cross-functionally on a daily basis with graphic designers, art directors & marketers
- Track competitors & keep up with the ever-evolving retail landscape
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business or equivalent, or Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 3 years working as a copywriter on a marketing or creative team; fashion retail experience required
- 2 years professional experience copywriting for social media (Meta, Instagram & TikTok)
- near-perfect grammar, editing & proofing skills
- curiosity & passion for fashion retail and the latest social media-driven trends a must
- a digital portfolio showing strong examples of past work
- in-house brand experience preferred
- paid media copywriting experience preferred
- familiarity with fundamental marketing principles (the customer journey, marketing funnel, etc.)
