Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of HVAC service experience (5 years preferred)
- EPA Section 608 Certification (Required)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (No OVI convictions within the past 5 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal tune-ups on heating and cooling equipment
- Service furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless systems, and related equipment
- Identify repair needs and explain recommendations clearly and professionally to customers
- Test and verify proper system operation after repairs and maintenance
- Complete service tickets and required paperwork accurately and on time
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good working condition
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and manufacturer service guidelines
- Communicate professionally and courteously with customers and coworkers
- Participate in an on-call rotation as required
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
- Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work on your feet throughout the workday
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service
