This role supports the planning, design, and construction of civil and structural systems for industrial and power generation projects, working closely with senior engineers in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Design concrete foundations and structural steel systems for power and industrial facilities
- Support development of calculations, drawings, specifications, and design documentation
- Serve as Responsible Engineer for assigned design packages, meeting quality and schedule requirements
- Perform material take‑offs for concrete and steel
- Review shop drawings for technical compliance
- Assist with project planning, budgeting, and estimates
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to support integrated project execution
- Provide technical solutions to civil/structural design challenges
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural focus preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience
- EIT certification and progress toward PE licensure
- Proficiency with structural analysis/design software (STAAD Pro, RISA)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Exposure to large, technically challenging power and industrial projects
- Stable workload with a growing regional design center
