Responsible for the coordination and delivery of project related sourcing, purchasing, expediting and material management in accordance with the plan, budget and schedule established for the project while also ensuring that the Supply Chain team adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Project Procedures and the Prime Contract.
The Supply Chain Project Director (SCPD) shall be assigned (in a matrix fashion) to the Project Management Team (PMT) within the Business Unit, reporting to the Project Director, and shall have accountability to the Business Unit to represent, lead and coordinate the delivery of Supply Chain services. The SCPD shall have regular interface with Business Unit and customers as well as vendors, suppliers and subcontractors.
The SCPD should have at a minimum 10 years of EPC project experience plus 5 years of nuclear supply chain experience that include responsibilities for supply chain management on projects of up to $1B and along with managing team of more than 40 individuals. The SCPD should possess a strong market acumen for all spend categories, demonstrate proficiency in commercial & contract negotiations, claim management, understand all component of supply chain risks and be capable and fluent with project management tools and work processes.
