Zachry Engineering Corporation (ZEC) is currently looking for a talented and self-motivated Structural Engineer IV to join our Charlotte, NC Engineering office. The ideal candidate will lead exciting industrial steel & concrete structural projects and be recognized as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a four-year college or university with focus in Structural Design Courses.
10 years of Structural Engineering experience in the Power and Industrial industry. (7 with a PE).
Professional registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.), preferred.
Professional registration as a Structural Engineer (S.E.), preferred.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, STAADPro, RISA, Enercalc or similar analysis software.
Familiarity with 3D design and viewing software such as Navisworks.
Experience with large industrial projects, and understanding of project environments, requirements, and risks.
Knowledge and understanding of engineering, construction, and project management
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Strong Microsoft Office software skills.
Ability to relocate to Omaha, Nebraska within a 30 day period.
Must have authorization to work in the United States for any employer without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
