At Zachary Scott, you’ll be a core member of a 13-person team with direct access to senior bankers, real ownership over your work, and deal exposure that would take years to earn at a larger firm.
Founded in 1991, Zachary Scott is one of the Pacific Northwest’s most established middle-market investment banks. What You’ll Do
- Lead preparation of CIMs, management presentations, pitches, and client-facing materials from first draft to final delivery
- Build and present complex financial models and valuation analyses for client businesses
- Understand and articulate the unique value propositions a company represents to acquirers of different profiles, and how those differences impact value
- Drive industry, market, and company-specific research to support deal strategy
- Produce thought leadership and whitepaper content for client outreach and business development
- Collaborate directly with senior bankers and clients throughout the engagement lifecycle
- Mentor, train, and supervise analysts and interns
What We’re Looking For
The strongest candidates will be technically sharp, intellectually curious, and genuinely energized by working with owner-operated businesses across multiple industries. Specifically:
- 2 years of investment banking experience (middle-market experience a plus)
- Demonstrated ability to own analytical workstreams and deliver client-ready work product independently
- Advanced Excel modeling skills and fluency in PowerPoint — you produce work that’s both rigorous and polished
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High accountability, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deal timelines simultaneously
- A collaborative instinct and low ego — you thrive in a small team where everyone contributes
Compensation & Benefits
