The TPM will serve as the technical program lead responsible for bridging hardware and software teams, driving complex system integration efforts, and overseeing multiple high‑impact software initiatives. - This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Lead and coordinate software development initiatives across multiple mission‑critical projects to ensure alignment with program objectives and delivery timelines.
- Serve as the primary technical program manager for the Software Development Group, overseeing planning, resource allocation, schedules, and milestone tracking.
- Act as the central bridge between hardware and software engineering teams to improve system integration, communication, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with hardware, systems, and software engineering teams to analyze, design, and integrate complex technical systems.
- Lead and mentor a small team of systems engineers and technical program managers across U.S. and international locations.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, verification and validation activities, and other lifecycle development processes.
- Contribute to the creation, interpretation, and communication of software requirements, design documentation, test plans, and technical specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- 5 years of software development experience.
- 3 years in a technical leadership or technical program management role.
- Demonstrated success managing complex software projects from requirements definition through deployment.
- Experience working with real‑time operating systems (RTOS) is highly preferred.
- Background supporting satellite communications, flight systems, or aerospace
- Experience creating and maintaining large‑scale technical documentation such as requirements specifications, interface control documents (ICDs), and test plans.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a dynamic, fast‑moving environment.
- Salary range: $160,000-180,000 annual salary, depending on experience
