Systems Administrator (Windows & Linux)

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Systems Administrator candidate to provide Linux, Windows, and Cloud based server administration, as well as Windows and MacOS X desktop support for a NAVY Program for NIWC PAC in San Diego, CA. The selected candidate will work as the primary System Administrator for the upkeep and maintenance of Linux and Windows physical and virtual servers, as well as desktop systems. This is an onsite role.

Responsibilities Include:

• RHEL system administration for physical and virtual servers
• Windows server system administration for physical and virtual servers
• AWS administration
• Experience with ACAS management
• Able to manage DNS, Active Directory, and Group Policy
• Able to perform mitigation of vulnerability found by ACAS scan
• Application of DISA STIGs
• Understand basic networking and troubleshooting, Ports, Protocols, Services (PPS) and able to trace connection between different machines
• Experience working within configuration management processes and procedures

Requirements

• IAT Level II certification (security CE or alike)
• Linux Certification (Linux , LPIC-2, LPIC-3, RHCE, RHCSA, RHCDS)
• 3 years of experience with Linux systems
• Windows desktop management experience
• Linux and Windows VM environment experience
  
  

Compensation Includes:

• $100,000 - $120,000 *depending on experience*
