Systems Administrator - TS/SCI

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator to support a intel customer. This program provides field support for the collection, correlation, and dissemination of intelligence from airborne, ground, and other ISR systems—delivering near real‑time, actionable intelligence to warfighters.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, maintain, and administer Linux and Windows systems supporting classified intelligence applications.
• Perform system configuration changes, backups, restores, and user account administration.
• Troubleshoot system issues and develop technical solutions to maintain system availability.
• Support system installations, upgrades, and integration activities.
• Ensure operational readiness and reliability of mission‑critical systems.
  
  

Required Skills and Experience:

• Active TS/SCI
• Experience administering Solaris/Linux and Windows operating systems
• Strong knowledge of Linux system capabilities including:
• Active Directory authentication
• Permission management
• DNS, Samba, NFS
• Package management
• Understanding of core network services and protocols
• Knowledge of DNS, LDAP, NIS, and Windows system security
• Strong communication and customer‑facing skills
• Ability to work extended hours, including nights and weekends, when mission requires
  
  

Compensation:

• Salary Range: Up to $110,000 based on experience
