Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a SOC Lead for a permanent position in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities of the SOC Lead:
· Manage a team of on/off-site analysts
· Maintain Security Incident Response Plan (SIRP)
· Review and update policies, SOPs, capabilities, ensuring SOC meets operational requirements
· Manage SIEM investigations
· Train and mentor team members
· Report to and communicate regularly with C-Suite executives
Requirements for the SOC Lead:
· Bachelors degree required (masters preferred)
· 10+ years of experience in information security, incident response
· 5+ years of experience managing technical staff in a 24x7 environment
· Experience recruiting, developing, training employees
· Security certification such as CISSP highly preferred
· Ability to obtain a SECRET level government security clearance is required
Compensation for the SOC Lead:
· $160,000-180,000 annual salary
