Responsibilities for the Senior Security Engineer:
- Perform security audits, risk analysis, application-level vulnerability testing, and security code reviews.
- Develop and implement technical solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
- Conduct research to identify new attack vectors.
- Support mainframe systems with scanning and other security-focused operational tasks.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of work experience.
- Active Tier 3 Secret clearance.
- 5 years of experience in security audits, risk analysis, vulnerability testing, and code reviews.
- 5 years of experience developing and implementing security solutions.
- Experience working within Agile methodology.
- Proficiency with Nessus, Splunk, Dynamic Application Testing Tools, and Bitbucket.
- Experience in cloud-native architecture and container security in AWS.
- Experience working in a Kafka infrastructure (preferred).
- Ability to build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of federal security requirements.
- Salary range: $110,000 - $115,000 annually
