Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to support a company focused on federal law enforcement and mission-critical data platforms. This is an on-site role in Washington, D.C. The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer will support the development of their internal system using a modern Postgres/Java/React stack while partnering with an established agile team to deliver MVP capabilities. - Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end application components
- Integrate system components, enhance existing codebases, and build new custom capabilities
- Participate across the full SDLC including planning, requirements, development, testing, and QA
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Test Engineers to deliver features meeting acceptance criteria
- Support CI/CD, application deployments, automation, and adherence to secure coding and accessibility standards
- 8 years of full-stack software engineering experience in enterprise environments
- Strong experience with Java, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, and relational databases (Postgres preferred)
- Experience with REST APIs, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Agile methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Active Top Secret security clearance required
- Salary Range: $140,000 - $150,000 depending on experience
