Responsibilities of the Secret Cleared Sr. Network Unified Communications Design Engineer includes:
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot complex LAN/BAN/WAN and unified communications infrastructures, including VoIP, VoSIP, Layer 3 switching, TACLANE, and auxiliary voice VLAN architectures.
- Develop integrated identity, access management, PKI, and authentication solutions while engineering multivendor network environments (Cisco, Juniper, Brocade).
- Manage communication hardware/software, IP addressing, DNS/DHCP services, videoconferencing systems, and network device configurations across DoD and federal environments.
- Support network transitions, cutovers, and system upgrades while producing documentation, performing rights management, and assisting government leadership with daily engineering operations.
- 10 years of IT/working experience
- TACLANE and VOIP experience are required
- An active Secret Clearance is required
- Must possess one of the following certifications: Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP), Fortinet Certified Network Security Professional (FCNSP), Juniper Networks Certified Specialist Security (JNCIP-SEC), Certified Modeling & Simulation Professional (CMSP), or equivalent Certification, or demonstrate sufficient experience in lieu of certification.
- CISSP certification is a hard requirement
- Hourly Pay: $59 - $62 **depending on experience**
