Responsibilities of the Quality Control Specialist IV - IT Design:
- Conduct quality assurance testing on equipment, systems, networks, and applications to ensure safe and effective operation.
- Interpret engineering plans and technical drawings to support design and fabrication of test specimens.
- Prepare shop drawings using Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) tools.
- Collaborate with engineering and software teams to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Support the development and maintenance of engineering and software systems through hands-on testing and analysis.
- 10 years of professional experience solving technical problems
- 5 years of experience designing architecture, infrastructure, and/or custom applications in support of cybersecurity, information assurance, information technology, medical data requirements, 3 of those years preferably in support of defense health requirements
- Trained in engineering and/or software design/maintenance techniques and experience testing systems, networks, communications, infrastructure/configuration, or applications
- Ability to interpret plans and drawings and contribute to the design and fabrication of test specimens
- Experience in Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD)
- Active TS (Top Secret) clearance required
- Familiarity with JOMIS, TMIP, RAISE 2.0, and Ship Board medical systems
- Experience supporting DoD healthcare IT environments
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Knowledge of Agile development and cybersecurity frameworks
- Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000 *depending on experience*
