Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a CLEARED Network Automation Engineer to join government consulting company supporting a fully funded project for the Coast Guard. This offers GREAT remote flexibility out of Alexandria, VA but does need someone local for occasional onsite meetings.

Essential Duties of the CLEARED Network Automation Engineer:
- Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections to automate configuration and compliance for routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code best practices for repeatable deployments and version-controlled configurations.
- Incorporate DISA STIG, DoD RMF, and Comply-to-Connect (C2C) standards into automation workflows.
- Create reusable automation frameworks to support multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Palo Alto, etc.).
- 3 years of experience in a network automation role.
- Strong IaC experience with tools like Ansible or Terraform.
- Experience with Cisco networking so has experience with routing, switching, and networking protocols.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.
- IAT Level II certification (such as Security )
- $80,000 - $110,000 (based on experience)
