Job description
Z-Force Transportation is an industry leader in Transportation services specializing in waste, liquid & dry bulk solutions nationwide. We are looking for a skilled candidate who is highly motivated to help manage and perform maintenance duties on our fleet of trucks and trailers in the Detroit area.
Position Available:
Tractor/ Trailer Mechanic –Performing routine and preventative maintenance on our fleet of 48-53’ Tipper trailers. Light Duty Tractor Mechanic

Responsibilities Include:
- Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services
- Repair trailers and related equipment in a timely and efficient manner
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper working condition
- Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
- Responsible for repairing damage to containers, trailers, and chassis.
- Repairing tarps
- Replacing lights
- Tire repair
- Landing gear repair
- Frame repair
- Preventative maintenance / running repair / brakes / suspension
- Other duites as needed.
