We are seeking a reliable Spotter Driver / Yard Driver to work at our Evendale, Ohio location. This is a full-time, steady position with consistent hours and no CDL required. Ideal for candidates with yard, warehouse, trailer spotting, and light duty mechanical experience.
This position will also require light duty maintenance such as tarp repairs and tire changing.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Spot, move, and position trailers within the yard
- Back trailers into dock doors and pull them out safely
- Perform yard jockey / yard driver duties
- Tarp loaded trailers
- Assist with light-duty trailer maintenance, including:
- Tire checks
- Tarps
- Minor trailer-related tasks
- Maintain a safe and organized yard environment
Schedule & Hours
- Start Time: 3a.m. or 8a.m.
- 8–10 hours per day
- 40–50 hours per week
- Monday–Friday
- Some Saturday work required
Pay & Compensation
- Starting pay: $25.00 per hour
- Overtime available after 40 hours
Job Requirements
- No CDL required
- Experience backing trailers preferred
- Yard driver, yard jockey, spotter, or warehouse experience a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physically able to perform light maintenance tasks
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and punctual
